It is with a heavy heart that as of today at 5pm 22nd March, my little business,
Rebecca May Photography will be closing to help lower the spread of the coronavirus.
I feel it is now my utmost duty to avoid people travelling unnecessarily and whilst I understand how upsetting this is for so many of my wonderful clients booked in to see me in the coming months, I can no longer continue to remain open and add to the problem.
It is clear that the illness is sweeping the nation quickly and as a result businesses were told to close. I have therefor taken it upon myself to close, too.
I will be updating everyone who has booked in via email, or messenger, please be patient, I have been extremely busy lately and so it may take me a while to go through everyone in my studio diary who is booked in over the coming weeks.
I will be posting past sessions on my social media pages to brighten the newsfeeds and to fill it with hope, new life and colour at a time which has shaken us all to the core.
I will not be taking further bookings for April or May and I have set aside June for rescheduling clients, for now my main priority lies for those who have booked and I will do my best to get you all in as soon as possible when we see the light at the end of this tunnel.
If you are due soon, please continue to get in touch and when baby arrives, you will be added to the list to be booked in as a priority.
I am however taking normal bookings for July onwards. I will be keeping a close eye on guidelines and of course will adhere to them. If anything changes you will be notified.
I would like this moment to thank you all for your incredible and amazing support since 2008! Eleven years my lovely people!!! A dream became a wonderful reality and I am so so blessed to call this my profession.
Remember us small businesses are in for a rough ride, so future bookings or purchasing gift vouchers (which will have 12 months expiry on them) can be ordered and I am always happy to discuss and plan future sessions.
My clients and family's safety is of the highest importance and given what the whole country is facing I am taking to self-isolating with my husband and children seriously. My hat goes off to key workers and our NHS, who are out there on the front line, working incredibly hard, so let us help them by staying home.
Biggest love and hugs to you all, stay safe,
